TRAINING IN OXFORD - A QUIET SETTING

Why not visit our chapel offices set in their own, peaceful grounds? Meet the team and put a face to the voice. Enjoy a superb lunch by the river and even squeeze in a visit to an Oxford College or Blackwells. Oh, and have some excellent training too!

Facilities

Our training suites are fully equipped to provide you with hands-on access to Heritage.  All training preparation including hardware and software configuration is completed in advance, allowing you and your staff to focus on the important business of learning!

One of the other advantages of coming to Oxford for your training is that you escape the demands and interruptions of your busy library.  Better still you can bring a copy of your data with you to the training session.  This helps ensure that the training is relevant to your needs whilst also bringing an important familiarity to the examples so that you get the very best from the session.

We welcome users with different levels of experience to all our training sessions.  Sessions are limited to a maximum of six people as our experience suggests that this is the optimum number if your team are to get the very best from the day.

We also encourage you to make the most of what training at our offices has to offer. Why not take an office tour and meet with our data conversion specialists and your designated ‘support guide’?

IS Oxford’s premises are located a short distance from Oxford city centre and are ideally positioned for access from the ring road.  The building is an attractive converted 19th century chapel in its own grounds, with ample free parking facilities:  the perfect setting for your training course.

The Course Structure

All bespoke training courses are written by your trainer to suit your own specific requirements.  Useful Helpsheets and other training materials are supplied on a USB stick.  A Certificate of Attendance is available if required.

A typical course runs from 10am until 4pm although by prior arrangement we can vary the start and finish times to fit with your travel plans.

We offer a delicious light lunch at a local eatery that is happy to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements.  You can stroll in our grounds during your break.

We endeavour to make your Oxford training day a memorable and fulfilling experience.  Indeed, in our experience groups trained together often work more effectively as a team afterwards, as well as having a greatly improved individual understanding of how best to use Heritage to achieve their goals.
