New! eLibrarian Service

Wed, 27/04/2011 - 11:56am

You can book our eLibrarian on an ad hoc basis, whenever you need it!

We now offer this service in addition to the standard annual maintenance contract. You can purchase the time of our eLibrarian to carry out a variety of tasks remotely on your behalf. With your permission our eLibrarian can access your system for a variety of purposes - from system customisation to a general system check.

eLibrarian is particularly useful because you purchase it only when you need it - which makes it not only timely, but also extremely cost-effective.

Your eLibrarian can do almost anything related to Heritage that can be carried out remotely. This includes:

  • Overdue letter customisation
  • Report writing
  • Upgrade implementation and testing
  • Customisation of your OPAC screens
  • Customisation of your Library Maps facility
  • Tidying up your journals
  • Global delete/change of unwanted data
  • Moving readers up a year
  • System checking in readiness for a new academic year
  • Tidying up your Heritage data.
