What range of media do you hold in your library? Is it all catalogued on Heritage?

Books, other text based resources (newspapers, prospectuses and university information, journals, magazines), CD Roms (small selection), audio books (both cassettes and CDs). All but newspapers, magazines and journals are catalogued on Heritage.

Can you remember where you first heard about Heritage? Did you look at our website before contacting us?

I first learnt about Heritage when I made the transition from public libraries to school libraries in 2004.

Do you remember how many library management systems you looked closely at?

Looking at different systems wasn’t an option – the school had purchased Heritage a few years before I started…

What are your overall impressions of ISOxford staff (this includes Sales, Training and Support staff, plus any Developers you may have dealt with)?

On the whole I have found the staff to be polite and helpful.

What did you think of the Heritage training?

All my training on Heritage has been supplied by Margo Veitch. Margo is extremely helpful.

How have you found the support service from ISstaff?

I tend to deal directly with Margo, but on the occasions I have spoken to IS directly they have been very helpful.

How has Heritage improved the day-to-day running of the library and services offered to your users?

The continual upgrades have been useful. The ability to import from the BL has made cataloguing easier.

What are your favourite features in Heritage?

Import feature on cataloguing. The ease with which Margo can write bespoke reports.

Do you have any other comments you would like to make about ISOxford or Heritage? Would you recommend it/us to other libraries?

On the whole I am pleased with ISOxford and Heritage. The support we receive from Margo is terrific. If there are any problems I just give her a call and she can usually sort things out within the week.
St Nicholas Catholic High School is part of the Cheshire Schools Group, who are supported locally by Margo Veitch. They have been using Heritage since 1994 and currently have two additional full access licences, the Acquisitions Module, the Quickcat Online Module and the Reader Import Module.
