About the Group

The purpose of the Heritage User Group, broadly speaking, is for users to exchange information and experiences, to discuss problems and to identify areas of the Heritage library management system which might benefit from further development. We are completely independent but we have had a long-standing and very fruitful relationship with IS Oxford over the years and many of the program's current features and facilities were developed as a direct consequence of suggestions and comments made by members at our meetings.

The national group meets twice a year, usually once in London and once elsewhere. IS Oxford is represented at the meetings and we normally have a workshop session to help users to get the most out of the product. From 2003 there have also been locally organised activities and events. Copies of the minutes are sent to all members, so if you cannot make it to meetings you may still find that membership provides a useful source of information on current developments.

There is a subscription charge of £10 per annum for membership of the User Group. For more information on HUG and its activities, we suggest that you refer to the HUG website. If you are just wanting to join, then here is the application form
