I have not had an opportunity to get in touch and compliment IS Oxford on the high level training session I attended at your magnificent premises in Oxford [...] is an excellent trainer, delivering highly relevant information at a pace and level which was comfortable [...] was very flexibile and demonstrated many advanced techniques which I am already starting to build into a comprehensive plan for the extension of the Heritage system across UHL. It was great to meet people and finally put faces to names and voices and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I am not usually one to comment upon such things, but the session proved to be of such value that I would strongly recommend other library professionals to take advantage of this service.

General Feedback

"I just wanted to let you know the fantastic support [Paul Sheehan] has provided St Martins in The Fields over the last few days with our issue with Heritage and Biostore. He went above and beyond his role, by arranging suitable times with myself to gain access to the computer for the issue, which at times it is very hard to gain access to! He also provided assistance with upgrading all functions of both databases, even though this is up to us to keep updated!, and creating new network shares to ensure all issues were resolved. With what started out as one issue, Paul resolved a multitude of issues for us without us even requesting! which is fantastic. He persisted with the issue allocated to him, and he approached this with a 'can do' attitude and always had other ideas on how to resolve this issue for us in the best/quickest way. Overall, he did an amazing job for us which all the staff are ecstatic with, he is a real credit to your support team. "

"I noticed yesterday how dramatically my overdues have been cut .. since starting to use the Notifications option. I use N2 (due in … days – which I have set to 2 days) and I run this every day (by email).. The overdues continue to go out by email (for the first gentle reminder and the second less gentle one!). The thing to say about this is how many students and staff have told me that they really appreciate having the reminder in advance of their books being overdue and it obviously is doing the trick so thank you to IS for setting this facility up. It is much appreciated by everyone involved – not least me as it saves so much extra hassle. "
